Scripture:
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
We Don’t Have to Serve — We Get to Serve
At Mosaic Church, we believe that serving is not just a Sunday task — it’s a calling, a privilege, and an act of worship. When Jesus gave His followers the Great Commission, He invited us into His mission of redemption. Every time we show up early, set up chairs, welcome a guest, or pray for someone in need, we’re joining in what God is alrea dy doing in the world.
We don’t serve out of obligation — we serve out of gratitude. We serve because we’ve been changed by the love of Christ, and we want others to experience that same love. Every handshake, every smile, and every act of kindness is an o pportunity to help someone know God.
Serving Builds Community
Something powerful happens when we serve together. We build community.
In a world where so many people feel disconnected, the Church is meant to be a family — a place where we can be known, lo ved, and supported. When you serve on a team, you’re not just filling a role — you’re forming relationships. You laugh together during setup, share stories during teardown, and pray together before service starts.
Community is where discipleship happens. I t’s where our faith is refined, our hearts are strengthened, and our love for one another grows deeper. The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. Serving connects us to something larger than ourselves — the body of Christ.
Serving Helps You Discover Your Purpose
God has uniquely gifted you — your talents, your personality, your story — for a reason. When you serve, those gifts come alive. You begin to see how God can use you to make an eternal difference.
Maybe you’re great with kids, have a warm smile, or love working behind the scenes. Every part of the body is essential, and every gift matters. When you use your gifts in service, you help others discover their faith and purpose too.
Make a Difference — Join the Dream Team
At Mosaic, we sa y it often because it’s true: We exist to lead people to an authentic relationship with Christ to help them change the world.
And we do that together — by helping people Know God, Find Community, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference.
If you’ve been attending Mosaic and wondering how to get more connected, joining the Dream Team is your next step. It’s how we grow in faith, deepen our relationships, and serve our community with joy.

Final Encouragement
Serving isn’t about perfection; it’s about participation. God doesn’t call us to be spectators — He calls us to be partners in His mission. And the beautiful truth is this: when we serve, we grow. When we give, we receive. When we pour out, God fills us again
So whether you’ve been part of the team for years or you’re just getting started, remember — we don’t have to do this... we get to do this!
Let’s serve with gratitu de, love, and expectation — because God is using us, together, to change lives
